The International Insurance Society (IIS) has announced Rajnikant (Rajni) Varia, former Managing Director of Zep Re as the inaugural recipient of the Vanguard Market Development Award.  The Vanguard Market Development Award, established this year by the IIS, recognizes those who have substantially advanced the development of insurance in an underserved market or emerging economy.
