Rianne Patel

Rianne joined Gallagher Re in early 2022, in her first full-time role as a broker in the Asia-Pacific team in London, with a focus on Japanese property treaty. Her background is in underwriting, having previously been promoted to Underwriter in the International Property Treaty team at AXA XL. She has also had underwriting experience in Marine Treaty at Navigators Re, her first role after leaving the Lloyd’s of London graduate scheme. The rotational nature of the scheme allowed Rianne to discover that reinsurance would be the best career path for her, where she could grow into a client-facing role and apply aspects of her Actuarial Science degree.
