Program Description: In recent years, emerging markets in Asia have attracted global insurers keen to capitalize on growing middle-class wealth and low penetration rates for insurance products and services. At the same time, new models for internet insurance, enabled by block chain technology, artificial intelligence, and big data analysis, has simplified the provision of insurance and the claims settlement process, making insurance more accessible to a wider range of customers.

Drawing on this background, and a decade of successful insurance events, Duxes will hold the 2nd Asia Pacific Insurance Summit 2018 on June 7-8 in Singapore. The event will serve as a platform for professionals to educate themselves on the latest developments to insurance markets across Asia. Speakers representing government authorities, trade associations, and leading insurers will analyze the insurance industry, sharing experiences and insights with attendees, and shedding light on opportunities and challenges for insurance in the Asia Pacific region.

Over the course of two days, the summit will analyze key insurance markets throughout the region, including in China, Southeast Asia, and India, with an emphasis on government policies and prospects for future growth. Additional content will break down life, health, auto, and trade credit insurance sectors, improvements to asset management, distribution channels, and claims settlement, as well as the revolutionary potential of FinTech on insurance models.
