Anne-Katherin has spent 20 years in the reinsurance and insurance industry. Her journey began with an apprenticeship in private lines insurance in Erfurt, Germany, which sparked her interest and led her to pursue a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Cologne. After completing her studies, Anne-Katherin relocated to Zurich, Switzerland, to embark on a career in Treaty Underwriting at Catlin (later AXA XL).

She has worked across various areas, including Property, Specialty, and Casualty classes, and has managed a range of markets within the EMEA region. Four years ago, Anne-Katherin embraced a new challenge by becoming a Reinsurance Broker. She now leads the London D/A/CH Desk at Gallagher Re and is part of the management team responsible for German-speaking markets.

Outside of work, Anne-Katherin enjoys reading and has recently developed a passion for gardening.
